I first became interested in music in my early teens. I went on a holiday with my family and my uncle and his family. One night around a campfire, my uncle pulled out a guitar and started playing and we all sang along. I thought to myself ‘I want to be able to do that.’ As soon as we got home from our holiday I picked up a guitar and haven’t put it down since. My initial interest in music developed into a passion for music so I bought my first guitar. I never thought that decision would have such an important impact on my life. As the years have gone by I have ventured into other instruments such as ukulele, djembe and harmonica with a goal to eventually combine them all together... Looping.

My beginnings as a performer were around a campfire, with classic campfire songs. Since then I’ve gone on to perform original songs at a range of events including weddings, birthdays and charity concerts. I’ve even had the opportunity to play on Bay FM, Byron Bay’s local radio station!

In 2008 I recorded and co-produced my first album called Need Light. I’ve been performing across the Northern Rivers in pubs and bars from Lismore to Byron, Alstonville to Coolangatta winning over the hearts of my listeners. Most recently I spent 5 months in Airlie Beach playing in several different bars and backpackers with great success.

I’m grateful that I’ve been able to share my gift with thousands of listeners and hopefully I have the chance to continue sharing...

Because, for me, music is an outlet for things that are often left unsaid.
